MHC is issuing Bulletin # 20-003 to provide guidance on the Request for Cash Distribution Process implemented due to staff now working remotely. To ensure that all requests for cash submitted for payment are processed in a timely manner, MHC is asking that recipients and sub-recipients of HOME & HTF awards submit a request for cash documents via email. If recipients do not have access to email, continue to send by mail or deliver during scheduled business hours 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
To avoid delay in processing payments, requests for cash documents must be accurate, submitted with necessary supporting documents and signed by authorized individuals. If recipients have not taken advantage of ACH deposits, we strongly encourage you to do so by completing the ACH form and email along with a request for cash documentation. Receiving payment by ACH will shorten the time it takes for your grantees to receive funds.
