SUBJECT: 2020 Tax Credit Cycle – Annual Credit Authority

The 2020 Tax Credit Cycle will be funded with 2021 Tax Credits. The ESTIMATED amount of credits available for the cycle is: $7,351,645.00
Please note that this estimated amount is subject to change as the 2021 population figure for Mississippi and per-capita rate have not been published by the IRS as of this bulletin.
The calculation is based on:
1) Mississippi population figure listed in Internal Revenue Bulletin No. 2019-12
2) Per-Capita Rate listed in Rev. Proc 2019-44.
It must also be noted, that two projects were forward allocated 2021 Tax Credits in the 2019 Opportunity Zones Cycle.
