How to Become A Participating Lender

Thank you for your interest in participating in Mississippi Home Corporation’s (MHC) Single-Family programs. Each of MHC’s programs requires documentation that must be approved before participation. Below you will find each of the programs we offer, and the necessary documentation needed for participation. All Loan Originators must be licensed in Mississippi.

*If participating in the Mortgage Revenue Bond (MRB) Programs only 1 invitation for application would be required to utilize all MRB products. 

 

Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) – MCC Flyer   

The Mortgage Credit Certificate Program requires a separate document for participation.

Housing Assistance for Teachers (HAT) – HAT Flyer   

  • No documentation is required for program participation.
  • The lender must just ask to be placed on the approved lender list and participate in a webinar training.

If the participation documents are fully executed in blue ink by all parties & color scanned, MHC will accept the documentation sent through email as the originals.   • The Lender does not execute the MRB Servicing Agreement found on our website unless your company wants to service its own loans for each program.  
  • If you don’t already have a correspondent agreement with Trustmark National Bank, they are not taking on additional lenders. 
  • The 30-year first mortgage can be an FHA, VA, RD Guaranteed, Fannie Mae (dependent upon Servicer used), or Freddie Mac conventional loan.
