State Federal Grants Office Hours: February 2026
Topic: Reconnect: Free Career Training
Better training builds better careers. South Central MS Works is partnering with Community Colleges and BuildMS to offer free career training. Attendees will learn about the programs and trainings, the available stipend ($10/hr.), benefits, and how these programs open the door to bigger opportunities, better pay, and long-term career paths for the population they serve.
The target audience for these Office Hours includes key staff and case managers from Community Agencies and Homeless Housing Service Providers.
The Office Hour will be Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 10:30 am – 11:30 am CT. Each session will feature a Q&A section and will be recorded and posted on the MHC’s website.
