Mississippi Home Corporation has created an Affordable Housing Developer Guide to help aid in its mission to enhance Mississippi’s long-term economic viability by financing safe, decent, affordable housing and helping working families build wealth.
The intention of the Guide is to help support local for-profit and nonprofit developers, community leaders, and advocates seeking to ensure that safe, decent, and affordable housing is an intentional and integrated part of their community. We hope this resource paves a path forward for a brighter and stronger future for the entire state and that it serves as a resource to increase the quality and affordability of the housing stock available to low- and moderate-income Mississippians.

The Mississippi Home Corporation was created by the State in 1989 to serve as the State’s Housing Finance Agency. In that capacity, MHC administers the Mortgage Revenue Bond program and the Housing Tax Credit program, among numerous other programs.
