Notice of Funds Availability under the HOME Program for Disaster Recovery & Response Program
Mississippi Home Corporation announces the availability of $500,000 grant funds Home Investment Partnerships (HOME)-Disaster Recovery & Response Program.
Eligible applicants are counties that are included in an Emergency or Major Disaster Declaration issued between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021 by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Funds available under this notice are intended to leverage other affordable housing funds to maximize the resources available for distribution of funds. Eligible activities are repair and rehabilitation of single-family owner-occupied housing and rehabilitation and replacement of owner-occupied manufactured housing. The property must have been damaged by a weather event identified in the Emergency or Major Disaster Declaration. Eligible households’ annual income cannot exceed 80% of area median income for the county adjusted for household size.
