PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT

State of Mississippi 2025 – 2029 Consolidated Plan – Updated Annual Action Plan Section

Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) and the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) will conduct one public hearing to obtain input from citizens on the updated Annual Action Plan (AAP) Section of the 2025 -2029 Consolidated Plan prior to the 30-day Public Comment Period. Both the Consolidated Plan and the Annual Action Plan are a requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and sets forth the state’s method of distribution of anticipated program funds under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program, HOME Investments Partnerships (HOME) Program, Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Program, and the Housing Trust Fund (HTF) Program.

The Public Hearing for the 2025 Annual Action Plan to gather citizen views and input will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Mississippi Home Corporation located at 735 Riverside Drive, Jackson, MS 39202.

The AAP sets forth the State’s method of distribution of funds for each of the programs. The following is a summary of the priorities, and projects to be addressed during the 2025 program year.  The 2025 Annual Action Plan Approximate Resources for Proposed Activities are:
