The Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) Board of Directors approved the release of the proposed Allocation of Funds and Guidelines for Scoring for housing components in the 2021 Annual Action Plan (AAP). The AAP is the annual implementation of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan for the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) Formula Grant Programs. Programs covered in this notice are the Housing Trust Fund (HTF), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Housing for Persons with HIV/Aids (HOPWA), and the HOME Programs. This document is currently available for public review. Comments will not be accepted prior to the comment period.
Timeline for 2021 Annual Allocation Plan
April 6, 2021 – Public Input meeting (virtual)
April 8, 2021 – May 9, 2021 – Comment Period – All comments will be considered for incorporation into the plan
May 10, 2021 – MHC Board to approve the submission of the plan to HUD
May 15, 2021 – Annual Action Plan submitted to HUD
