Legislation signed into law on December 27, 2020, fixed the rate for the 30% present value low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) at 4%.
A project financed by a tax-exempt bond that is issued (project “closes”) after December 31, 2020, is eligible for the 4% minimum rate.
