State of Mississippi Releases Plan to Carry Out HOPWA Activities Authorized by Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act)
The State of Mississippi has released a plan to carry out HOPWA activities authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). To view the plan please visit https://www.mshomecorp.com/federal-programs/hopwa/.
“Mississippi Home Corporation is working hard to help all Mississippians that have been impacted by COVID-19,” said Scott Spivey Executive Director of MHC. “These HOPWA Funds, designated from the CARES Act, will help support persons living with HIV/AIDS and their families during this unprecedented time.”
Supplemental funding provided under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) are to be used by HOPWA grantees as additional funding to maintain operations and for rental assistance, supportive services, and other necessary actions, in order to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.
